W. Bradley Deason (Vice President),serves major institutional accounts along the eastern seaboard. Prior to joining Williams MacKay Jordan & Co., Brad was a member of the institutional sales force at Lovett Underwood Neuhaus & Webb. From 1979 through 1986, he was in sales at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette. Brad graduated from the University of Georgia with a BB.A. in Finance.
Paul A. Granieri (Sales Associate), is an institutional equity salesman working out of the Los Angeles office. Prior to joining Sanders Morris Harris full time, he was an intern in the trading and research departments at Sanders. Mr. Granieri graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor of Accountancy and emphasis in finance.
Madeline Joyce (Senior Vice President), working out of the New Yorkoffice, covers accounts throughout North America.Before joining Sanders Morris Harris, she was an institutional salesperson at Josepthal & Co.and limited partner at Punk Ziegel & Co., Inc. Prior to that, Ms. Joycespent sixteen years at Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. (CIBC World Markets) as a limited partner in the institutional salesgroup. Ms. Joyce began her investment career as researchcoordinator/analyst at Lehman Management Company. She received a B.S. from theState University of New York, New Paltz.
Bill McMackin (Vice President), works out of the Houston office and covers institutional accounts nationally. He began his investment career in the early 1970s with a Houston regional firm, Underwood Neuhaus & Co. His institutional career began in 1983 with Lovett, Mitchell, Webb & Garrison in Houston. He subsequently worked with Eppler, Guerin & Turner, Drexel Burnham & Oppenheimer. He received Bachelors and Masters degrees in Finance from the University of Illinois.
Edward C. Ruelas (Senior Vice President), working out of the Los Angeles office, covers domestic institutional accounts. His previous experience includes employment at Sutro & Co. in Los Angeles, Commonwealth Associates in New York and Moors & Cabot in San Francisco. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Business Administration.
Trading
Bret D. Sanders (Manager of NASDAQ Trading), is an equity trader at Sanders Morris Harris. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sanders worked in the legal and investment consulting fields relating to securities industry compliance issues. He specializes in market making activities in the shares of companies with which Sanders Morris Harris has an on-going relationship, including Rule 144A and corporate buy-back programs. Mr. Sanders received his B.A. degree from the University of Houston.
Brian Dooley (Senior Vice President), working out of the Los Angeles office, covers institutional accounts nationally. He previously served institutional accounts at Sutro & Co., and worked in the Securities Lending Division at Paine Webber.
Randall Y. Hayashi (Institutional Trader), works out of the Los Angeles office as an institutional equity trader. He joined Sanders Morris Harris after working at Sutro & Co. since 2000. Mr. Hayahsi graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a B.A. in Economics.
Craig Juda (Vice President), works out of the Los Angeles office as an institutional equity trader. He joined Sanders Morris Harris after a three and a half year career at Sutro & Co. Mr. Juda graduated from the University of Southern California in 1997 with a B.S. in Public Policy & Management.
Tom Juda Jr. (Institutional Trading Clerk), works out of the Los Angeles Institutional Equity trading desk as the head trading clerk. He was previously at Sutro & Co. since 1992. Mr. Juda received his B.S. in Public Administration from the University of Southern California in 1992.
Arnold Palmer (Senior Vice President), works out of the Los Angeles office and concentrates on New York and east coast institutional account coverage. He joins Sanders Morris Harris after establishing himself as a knowledgeable trader at Sutro & Co. Mr. Palmer’s son, Dan, works alongside him.
Mark Rice (Senior Vice President), works out of the Los Angeles office as an institutional equity trader covering accounts nationwide. He joined Sanders Morris Harris after a twenty-eight year career at Sutro & Co. and has over thirty years of experience in the institutional arena.
Bryant G. Saydah (Vice President, InstitutionalNASDAQ Trader), works out of the Los Angeles office. Bryant joins us from Wedbush Morgan Securities. Prior to that he was with Banc of America Securities in San Francisco. Mr. Saydah received a B.S. from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
